Från StatistikfrämjandetIn May and June, Tailen Hsing (Chalmers jubilee professor, editor Annals of Statistics) will give an open course “An Introduction to Functional Data Analysis”, based on his new book “Theoretical Foundations of Functional Data Analysis, with an Introduction to Linear Operators” (http://eu.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/productCd-0470016914.html).
The course will be held during two intensive weeks, with each week starting after lunch on Monday and ending at lunch Friday. The course weeks are May 9-13 and June 6-10. Information about the course is available here.
Participation is free. Participants should arrange and fund travel and accommodation themselves. Students can take the course for credit (7.5 ETCS), if they so wish.
